Another way we carry out discipleship groups is One-on-One Bible Reading.  We do this in pairs to build each other up into the likeness of Christ.  The Bible is paramount and reading it together is an enriching experience.  Get involved!  Grab a friend, head to a coffee shop or restaurant, and start reading through any one of the Bible's life-giving books together!

Living life together as a body of Christ is greatly valued at Brantwood.  Discipleship Groups, or D-Groups, are spontaneous groups that aim to lead others to identify with Jesus and then to follow him more deeply.  They generally meet anywhere from two to six months.  Restaurants, coffee shops, and homes are perfect meeting places.  D-Groups may read through a book together, or a group may gather weekly to discuss a practical topic of the Christian life, such as parenting, in someone's home.  To get involved, ask someone to join you and join the discipleship-making revolution!

"Discipleship means adherence to Christ, and, because Christ is the object of that adherence, it must take the form of discipleship. . . . Christianity without discipleship is always Christianity without Christ."
